Anita L. Jackson, MD, MS, MPH, FACS, is a 1990-graduate of the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Illinois. Her postgraduate training includes her general surgery residency served at Howard University Hospital (1990-1992), as well as her otolaryngology residency performed at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (1993-1997). Dr. Jackson completed her undergraduate education in Molecular Biology at Princeton University. She also obtained a Master of Science degree in Biology from Stanford University, as well as a Master of Public Health degree from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health where she received the Albert Schweitzer Award and the Harvard Chair as their most outstanding student. Dr. Jackson attained board certification in otolaryngology with the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (ABOHNS). Furthermore, she has been honored as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). She credits her love for helping people find the best clinical solution to her continued interest in science and research.
